Made this barbie cake for my niece.... she loves purple so much (like her auntie)... :D

Barbie Cake for Edlin...

Still with Lawyer Noraini's order... barbie cake... 2nd time customer order from me... masa buat kek ni, aku dah mengantuk sgt..sebab hari yg sama, aku tak cukup tido... bgn 3am (siapkan kek & cupkek hantaran yg sebelum ni), then sambung lak dgn baking & deco cupkek yg edible tu..last sekali deco barbie cake ni... campur tolak semua masa, 22 jam aku berjaga (dgn anak2 lagi kat rumah, penat yg amat)... masa draft kat kertas, mmg cantikla konon2nya skirt ni...tapi bila buat tu, rasa mcm kurang kemas.. ni kes dah terlalu penat...kalau aku tido, aku rasa aku susah nak bgn & nak tak nak aku continue gakla buat....

Baju barbie ni lak... 2 kali aku cuba guna bc, tapi tak menjadi..last2 buat guna fondant la... paling susah nak adun yg purple tu (sebab aku campur 3 warna - violet + pink + blue)... nak kena dptkan warna yg sama dgn bc baru aku rasa cantik...

Pink bear cake...

Yesterday's order... Bear cake.... akhirnya aku dpt merasmikan pan bear yg aku beli kat KL dulu... Order ni dari Maisarah (MPT) utk anaknya Ika... happy 2nd birthday Ika...sori ya kalau kek ni kureng menarik...weekend lepas, badan tak sihat (I had a very bad period pain - lama tak kena mcm ni)... nak tak nak kena proceed dgn order w/pun tak larat..

I would say that this is a very last minute order... kalau ikutkan, empunya yg order ni dah bgtau minggu lepas tapi tak pernah lak confirm order...So, I assume maybe tak jadi la...

Suddenly, I received sms from her (Imah - TJ) on Tuesday morning (yesterday) & she said that she wanted to pick-up on Wednesday morning (which is today)..... hhmmm... I really don't like last minute order.... PLEASE...............lain kali tak mau buat lagi yg...tak larat la.... since this is a last minute one, so deco pun ala kadar jela yek...no drawing or whatsoever... I just used whatever I have...

Kalau ikutkan, anaknya minat Dora, tapi aku mmg dah tak sempat nak melukis ni..edible Dora pun takde dlm simpanan... aku guna jela 6 muka princess ni...sesuaila dgn celebration yg ke 6 thn...

I'm happy with my frosting this time... mmg smooth, tak mcm yg sebelum ni.. harap2 pas ni ok selalu la..

Kek No. 9???

Mie (hubby's friend) ordered this cake for his daughter....so, i've got the chance to "rasmikan" my no 9 pan... he requested pink colour for this cake...

Nak ratakan kek berlekuk2 ni mmg satu cabaran... tgn ni dah lenguh.. pinggang pun rasa mcm nak patah dah... tapi ku gagahkan jua... after finished with the deco & the moment I started to snap this pic....something happened................PLEASE take a closer look at this cake.. looks wierd huh???

OF COURSE!!!!!!!!! sebab no 9 tu TERBALIK daaaaaaaaaaaa......... warrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh........... oh tidak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aku terus call hubby (masa ni hubby kluar dgn adik & abgnya).. bgtau pasal kek ni dah silap buat.. aku siap cakap, aku dah penat... tak sanggup nak buat lagi.. (masa tu pukul 11pm++)...

Hubby terus balik after dpt panggilan dari aku... balik2 tu, cool semacam je (yelah...bukan dia yg buat, mestilah cool kan)... pastu dia kata, terbalikkan aje kek tu.... pastu hias je belah atas.. aku mmg dah tak larat sgt2.... dahla tgh P (sakit org pompuan).. rasa nak baring je.. aku pun cakap kat dia, "saya dah tak larat.. nak mandi, pastu nak tido".. aku pun terus masuk bilik... pas mandi semua, aku kluar, aku tgk kek ni dah di terbalikkan... dia hubby sedang gigih membuat apa2 yg patut... (masa ni BC pink mmg dah habis) tinggal warna merah @ dark pink ni je.. aku pun masuk tido...

Pagi tadi, aku jenguk dlm peti, nampakla kek yg tlh disiapkan oleh dear hubby... jgn tak tau, kerang2 kat keliling tu pun dia yg buat tau... not bad... TQ dear for your help... so, nilah wajah terbaru kek tu (nampak tak base yg tak di "lepa" tu??? pandai2 la cover ya..)

Barbie Cake for Qistina...

This is my 1st order of Barbie Cake.. before this I used to make this kind of cake for my niece's birthday & that was it.... so, when Nur Sarah (MPT) said that she wanted to order a birthday cake for her daughter, this is what I have in mind...

Look at the Barbie's hair... hehehe... comel kan??? I used mine (memandangkan blm ada anak perempuan, sedekahla kat Barbie ni, ok gak kan...).. Thanks to Ita for your guidance on how to smoothen the Barbie's skirt.... :D

For IERA...

IERA??? who's that?? Well, it's for Watie's friend (not sure her name is Iera @ is it her daughter's name).. but she wants me to write "IERA" on the cake... no theme coz this is just for "mkn2".. (another budgeted cake that I made).... Hope she'll love this cake..

Happy Birthday Babah...

This order came from Ayu MPT.. she wanted a birthday cake for her hubby.. she mentioned that her hubby loves fishing.. hmmm.... I took me a while to think of what design is suitable to draw on the cake... At first, hubby were thinking of drawing "ikan patin".. but then...I came up with the idea of drawing a scenary of fishing port... (ala2 pemandangan la)..


BUT.. i'm not good in drawing... so, I asked my hubby to help me out on this.. 98% of the deco were done by my dear hubby... I only help with the border.. that's all... hubby did all the drawing, coloring & writing as well... thanks abang... (ni kira nak asah skill melukis ni)..


Tadaaaaaaaaaaa.......... (dah siap pun.. nampak tak ada pancing tu???)..

Repeat order from Khairul MPT (before this, he ordered the birthday cake for "nenek")... this time for his lovely wife... thanks for your order.. I don't know what happen to me.. I'm not so satisfied with the outcome of this cake... maybe due to time (rushing sket masa buat kek ni).. but I hope he satisfied..
Another pink cake for today... (tak taula semua pun request kaler pink hari ni... sebenarnya aku tak puas hati dgn border belah atas kek ni... nampak sgt tak smooth border yg aku buat ni... senget benget la... ishhh geramnya!!!)

A friend of mine (Watie) asked me whether I could make a birthday cake for her daughter.. of course I said YES.. but she is worried about the cost & I said to her.. don't worry... I'll make one at a very reasonable price.... I would say that the cake I made today is a budgeted cake (to fullfil a mother's dream for giving a special cake to her daughter)... Happy 12th Birthday to Fiesa... hope she'll success in her UPSR this year..

Nora used to order a birthday cake for her daughter... this time she asked me to bake for her niece (grown up one)... When she saw the cake that I previously made (yg utk nenek tu), she said that I can make the one that looks like that.. so, this is the outcome....

Khas buat ibu tersayang...

Actually I'm supposed to bake only 1 cake for yesterday, but this one has become the most express cake above all... why do I say this??? Coz the person called my hubby & asked whether I can bake 1 cake for his mom (ni kes dia lupa nak bgtau hari yg sebelumnya), & he wanted the cake on the same day that he requested (which was yesterday)... mak aiii..... aku sebenarnya tak suka keje last minit ni, sebab takut tak sempat... hmmm.... tapi terima gakla sebab kebetulan aku EL semalam, kira ada masa la nak bake & deco.. So, I baked this cake in the afternoon, waited for the cake to be cooled (sambil tu frosting BD cake yg sebelum ni), then continue with this cake... kalau perasan, kek ni mcm kek kawin la pulak.. hehehe... saje nak try deco lain sikit, idea dtg on d spot.. time ni aku suka sebab org tu tak minta apa2 theme.. He only mentioned to write "Selamat Hari Lahir Nenek" on the cake.. So up to me to deco (I love when customer didn't mention the theme @ deco types of the cake coz I can do whatever I want & at the same time I can experiment my new ideas.. )

I love the outcome (ni nak perasan kejap...) for me, this cake looks so sweet..
