Julie & Habib - Part II...

For wedding day, Julie (USM) requested Red & White theme... RED??? hehehe....satu lagi warna yg susah nak dpt.. bukan susah apa, susah nak dpt yg betul2 terang...this time I used chefmaster color (peram BC semalaman, keesokan warna tu jadi lagi terang)... Mencabar sungguh order kali ni, mencabar dari segi adunan warna... lagi satu masa nak lepa BC pun rasa penat sgt..jenuh dh ratakan, still tak berapa smooth... huhu....

Actually Julie requested 2 tiers, but she wanted to combine with cupcakes.. meaning, the bottom part - cake & top part - cupcakes... Since she also interested to rent my tiers, I adviced her to put flowers on the top part of the tiers (kalau tak, nampak cam pelik kan kalau atas sekali kosong..)... for my experiment, I put the wedding doll cake on top of the tiers... looks nice huh?? (sila abaikan alas kat atas meja tu..mencacatkan aje)...

*** Notes:-
Ada eksiden masa aku nak masukkan kek ni kek dlm kotak... tgn aku "ter"sentuh tepi kek tu.... warrghhhhh.....mmg tension habisss... 1st time terjadi perkara yg tak diingini... nak tak nak aku tampal semula.. tapi mmg susahla..sebab part tu je kan... aduhai... Sori Julie, kalau kek ni ada cacat sikit..

Julie & Habib - Part I...

Black & White theme... wow!!! pening gak masa mula2 diorang mention nak kek hantaran B & W ni... coz I know it's not easy to get a black color (eventhough perwarna tu black, tapi still tak dpt warna yg betul2 hitam).. 1st, I have to make the little flower using gumpaste... (jenuh bancuh warna, mula2 guna wilton, pastu aku guna lak yg chefmaster... baru dpt, tupun tak betul2 hitam.. bila tanya haziq, dia cakap tu kelabu.. huhu... pening2...)

This is how how the cake looks... Simple je... design as requested by the groom... (kek ni hantaran utk diberi kpd pengantin perempuan)..BC hitam tu pun aku dah simpan semalam, kalau tak, warna lagi pudar...

Hope both of them satisfied with the outcome.. to Julie & Habib... Selamat Pengantin Baru...

From Temerloh to JB & Ipoh..

Actually I didn't plan to take any orders on Friday since I have to concentrate on wedding cake for Julie... but, since this is a special request (dari org jauh lak tu), so I said "blh la"... These 3 sets of cc have safely arrived in JB... special order from my biras's officemate in MISC, JB...

Some requested deco from previous entry (siap specify warna lagi)... hehehe....
The other 2 sets, I just recycle the old design that I used to make before (nak save time, sebab wedding cake & hantaran blh usik lagi masa ni)...
This one is for Fara (TJ)... sib baik ada extra ya Fara.... thanks for your order yaa... rasanya dah selamat sampai ke Ipoh semalam...

Wedding IELA & YUS - Last part...

Fuhhh...this is the last part... the biggest challenge... 3 tiers wedding cake... Yatie wanted to rent the floating tiers & for this tiers, I used round cake size 12", 9" & 6"... If u noticed, I like using the "cornelli lace" deco... why?? I just love looking at it.. looks so sweet & elegent (ni pendapat peribadi aku la.. lain org, lain citarasa kan)... Another thing, why do i used gumpaste flower??? coz I want to save time... kalau buat roses from bc, sampai pagi la aku siapkan kek ni....

The bottom part... chocolate sponge cake with chocolate filling...

The middle part - strawberry sponge cake with strawberry fillings.. (thank God I got the strawberry from Tesco KB - yup..kelantan..hubby pegi sana ada meeting, so sempatla dia balik bawa strawberry...kat sini takde la..)

The top part - vanilla sponge cake with blueberry filling...

*** aku mmg sengaja buat deco ni semua creme colour.. sampai ke border tepi bawah tu pun creme gak... sebab aku ada tgk cth kat floating box tu, kek tu sweet sgt.. warna putih, pastu semua border pun putih...nampak suci je..cuma bunga je lain, barula kek tu nampak outstanding....

Wedding IELA & YUS - Part II

After finished with the cc, I proceed with the "hantaran" cake... This time is for the groom to the bride side.. Yatie requested "hijau lumut".. aduhai...camna ye nak bancuh hijau lumut?? jenuh bermain dgn warna.. last2 ni je yg aku dpt... maybe kurang memenuhi kriteria, tapi Yatie kata "okla ni"... hehehe.... sori ya Yatie kalau tak berapa matching...

Aku ni berangan buat kek fondant... tu yg sibuk gubah bunga2 tu atas kek... sukanya buat ni... nak buat camna kan, org request bc, bukannya fondant...takpela, buat cam nipun dpt lepas gak hajat...

Wedding IELA & YUS - Part I

This is last week's order... I did all this in one day (last Friday)... Alhamdullilah sakit pinggang dah ok, tu yg blh pulun semula.. So let me begin with the set of cuppies for hantaran (this one is from the bride to groom side).. the order came from Yatie (Jengka 19)... last time she ordered cupcakes for her daughter, and this time is for her sister.. and the theme requested maroon & creme/white... for cuppies, I used marron & white but for cakes I used maroon & creme... still experimenting with my love rosette deco, but this time a little bit different...

Susahnya nak dptkan warna maroon ni... mula2 aku guna wilton colour... bancuh punya bancuh, tak dpt gak..last2 guna pewarna cap ayam je...haaa.... dpt pun... dlm gambar maybe tak berapa nampak ke"maroon"nannya.. tapi kat luar cantik sgt.. hehehe...

Yg satu set kat bawah ni goes to Fara (Kolej Komuniti Mentakab).. last time she ordered cuppies for her friend's wedding.. lucky for her coz I have extra cupcakes (masa tu dia ada tanya ada extra cc tak), so this one goes to her... 22pcs cc...

Ben 10 Cake for???

This order came from kak Zura (MPT)... she requested a Ben10 cake for her son... tapi tula.. dlm byk2 bende aku lupa nak tanya nama anak dia... no phone lak takde... mmg kronik... last2 aku tulis je kat tepi tu "Happy Birthday".. alahai...sori ya....

Masa buat kek ni aku sakit pinggang yg teramat.. tak pernah kena mcm ni... rasa mcm tak nak buat je dah..tapi org dah byr, tak adil lak kan... so, aku gagahkan diri utk buat...sib baik guna edible..tapi still sakit la sebab tak blh nak duduk kan... Alhamdulillah hari ni dah beransur pulih... cuak ni sebab minggu ni ada big orders...hopefully tak sakit semula laa..

For my neighbour...

This set off cc was made to my neighbour... sebenarnya aku buntu nak bg apa utk wedding anak jiran aku tu, pastu tgk ada cc extra...tu yg aku terus deco sebelum pi mkn kenduri.. hehehe... tgh kemaruk dgn design ni.... hentam sajela labu... hopefully they'll love the cc...

Kek No. 9???

Mie (hubby's friend) ordered this cake for his daughter....so, i've got the chance to "rasmikan" my no 9 pan... he requested pink colour for this cake...

Nak ratakan kek berlekuk2 ni mmg satu cabaran... tgn ni dah lenguh.. pinggang pun rasa mcm nak patah dah... tapi ku gagahkan jua... after finished with the deco & the moment I started to snap this pic....something happened................PLEASE take a closer look at this cake.. looks wierd huh???

OF COURSE!!!!!!!!! sebab no 9 tu TERBALIK daaaaaaaaaaaa......... warrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh........... oh tidak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aku terus call hubby (masa ni hubby kluar dgn adik & abgnya).. bgtau pasal kek ni dah silap buat.. aku siap cakap, aku dah penat... tak sanggup nak buat lagi.. (masa tu pukul 11pm++)...

Hubby terus balik after dpt panggilan dari aku... balik2 tu, cool semacam je (yelah...bukan dia yg buat, mestilah cool kan)... pastu dia kata, terbalikkan aje kek tu.... pastu hias je belah atas.. aku mmg dah tak larat sgt2.... dahla tgh P (sakit org pompuan).. rasa nak baring je.. aku pun cakap kat dia, "saya dah tak larat.. nak mandi, pastu nak tido".. aku pun terus masuk bilik... pas mandi semua, aku kluar, aku tgk kek ni dah di terbalikkan... dia hubby sedang gigih membuat apa2 yg patut... (masa ni BC pink mmg dah habis) tinggal warna merah @ dark pink ni je.. aku pun masuk tido...

Pagi tadi, aku jenguk dlm peti, nampakla kek yg tlh disiapkan oleh dear hubby... jgn tak tau, kerang2 kat keliling tu pun dia yg buat tau... not bad... TQ dear for your help... so, nilah wajah terbaru kek tu (nampak tak base yg tak di "lepa" tu??? pandai2 la cover ya..)

Birthday Cakes for Big Bro & Little Sis...

Another hectic day for me..after finished with the cc, I had 3 more cakes to bake & deco (on d same day).. huh!!! very tiring... I started baking on the afternoon & the deco started at 7pm... sempat la aku mop rumah dulu (ana2k takde, senang sikit nak buat keje), pastu balas email jap, sementara nak tunggu kek2 ni sejuk...

This time, the order came from Khairul (MPT).. Khairul ni pun dah beberapa kali order kek dgn aku.. cuma kali ni terus 2 biji sekaligus... satu sorang utk anak2nya...nasib baik dia tak kisah nak yg macamna.. so, aku letak la edible pic (keje senang).... kalau nak lukis2 takes time, for sure aku tak buat dah sebab takut tak sempat nak siapkan...

1st cake.. for his daughter... Umairah... Happy birthday dear (tak dpt nak letak edible yg besar sebab kek ni size 8" aje).. edible besar tu sesuai utk kek size 9"..2nd cake.. for Haziq (sama nama lak anak kita)... my Haziq dah jeling2 kek ni, siap sound lagi, bila nak buat kek Ben10 utk dia lak?? huhu... "stitching" keliling gambar tu idea my hubby, dia yg buat...
*** 1st time aku ratakan BC pada dua2 kek ni tanpa guna air panas... wah..jenuh gak yaaa.... ***

Orders from Ida...

Ida (Paya Pulai) has become one of my loyal customers.. TQ so much Ida for your support...this time she ordered 2 set of cupcakes (mix flavour & toppings).. meaning.. ada yg vanilla cc with BC, vanilla cc with choc ganache, cm cc sith bc & cm cc with choc ganache.. haaa.. yg mana satu kombinasi paling best Ida??? (I seldom do like this, sebab leceh, tapi ni kira special kes ya)...

Kalau ikutkan, Ida oder cc ni utk anniversary dia.. pastu dia takde lak bgtau theme semua, aku pun kira blh la nak asah skill nak lukis "henna" ni... dulu selalu buat asyik tak jadi, kali ni aku rasa byk dah improve... w/pun tak secantik org lain, tapi rasa puas hati gak la (tapi kena improve lagi tang lengkok tu, kurang "bulat"..)..

Mula2 sibuk dgn henna tu.. pastu barulah concentrate dgn lagi satu ni.. idea dpt masa tgh tenung cuppies tu.. nak buat roses mcm fiza, tak cantik2 gak..tu yg tukar jadi mcm ni...orait tak??? AKU SUKA!!!! sweet........ sesuai utk hantaran...

Kalau ikut hati aku, nak penuhkan dgn bunga2 tu je.. tapi teringat lak yg Ida suruh tulis gak something on cc... tu yg aku tulis seminimum yg blh.... sebab nak buat bunga2 tu lebih.. Sori ya Ida, tulisan tu mcm mencacatkan aje set cc tu...

My football field cake..

My 1st challenge of making a football field cake (sebenarnya aku dah lama mengidam nak buat kek padang bola ni... tunggu masa je... akhirnya impian aku terlaksana..)... and this one came from Yatie (MPT).. last time she ordered Mickey Mouse CC for her nephew... but this time the cake was for her beloved hubby... at first she only asked me to draw "MU logo" on the cake.. but then, I suggested to her why not I make a football field with MU logo on it?? and she agreed....

I started to deco this cake on 6am on Sunday & finish everything on 9.30am... (hari yg amat memenatkan sejak beberapa hari yg lepas sebab asyik tido lewat & bgn awal pagi utk deco kek.. aku ni pun rasa mcm zombie dah...)..

Credit to my dear hubby for the drawing of MU logo (semangat tau hubby aku lukis ni, maklumla favourite team dia... siap letak baju MU dia kat tepi sebab nak dpt feel...hehehehe)...
