Yesterday I went to KL & did my shopping marathon for baking stuffs... Temerloh - Yummie Bangi - Wilton Damansara - Yen Puchong - IKEA - Temerloh. Yg IKEA tu bukan pasal baking tu hubby punya turn lak...

Kat sini aku cuma nak display 2 tiers yg aku borong semalam (tak sempat buka lagi, masih dlm kotak) Kalau ikutkan, ada byk lagi brg yg aku beli... nanti aku citer detail kat my personal blog....

- masa kat Wilton, aku jumpa lynnhassan (mula2 mcm dgr suara je, sebab masa tu aku kat belakang, pastu aku tgk dpn, mmg sah lynn)..terusla menerpa & berborak2 + tumpang acc lynn masa beli tu (kalau tak, tak dptla 5% diskaun).. byk gak tu... hehehe...thanks ya lynn.. lynn kena balik awal sebab dia kena siapkan order... masa kat Wilton gak aku berkenalan dgn kak wanie... kak wanie sgt baik, w/pun baru 1st time jumpa, dia siap tunjukkan jln dari Wilton ke Yen Puchong.. so, kitorang pun follow la kereta kak wanie dlm hujan lebat tu... nak harap kitorang, mmg tak lepas laa... to kak wanie, terima kasih byk2 sebab tlg kitorang... jasamu di kenang...keep in touch yaaa... :D

For beloved MAK...

Ieda (Paya Pulai) ordered a birthday cake for her beloved mother... this is her 2nd order (yg 1st dulu Garfield cupcakes)... thanks a lot Ieda for your order... Ieda requested the deco yg ala2 ada pagar kat keliling kek tu (mcm yg aku pernah buat sebelum ni)...

Byk sungguh insiden masa buat kek ni..sebab pada mulanya aku nak try guna new BC (tapi sebab tak mahir, so aku tak berjaya buat)... then, aku decide utk tido je (waktu tu dah pukul 12am)... so, I set up my alarm at 5am to continue on the frosting & deco... but at 4am, I already awake (ni kes tak lelap tido sebab memikirkan deco blm siap).. kalau ikut idea asal nak buat lain, tiba2 je dpt idea nak buat "a bouquet of rosette atas kek"... amacam ok tak design ni??? aku suka!! hehehe.. syok sendiri lak.. Ieda.. akak harap mak awak suka dgn kek ni..

Last friday, I received a called from someone named Yatie (she works in KL but her hometown is at Jengka 19).. she wanted to order a set of cc for her daughter (kira belated la ni sebab BD anak dia 14feb yg lepas).. mula2 mmg ingat tak nak amik order dah sebab Saturday tu aku keje, takut tak sempat.. then, aku setuju la sebab dia nak pun tak byk..so blh la slot in sekali dgn Arifah punya order...

Actually ada incident sikit masa nak amik cc ni... mula2 mmg yatie nak dtg ambil sendiri.. tiba2 kereta dia rosak & tersadai kat R&R Temerloh... pastu since dah lewat (dia takut tak sempat sebab nak balik KL mlm tu gak), dia sms aku bgtau yg dia tak dpt nak ambil cc ni, suruh aku sedekah kat sapa2 jela.. katanya dia ikhlas... alahai...sedih lak aku dgr.. then, aku bgtau dia yg aku blh la tlg hantar kan tapi aku charge RM10 la utk delivery charges.. then, dia kata OK.. so, ptg semalam kitorang pun antala cc ni ke jengka 19...

Birthday cuppies...

Order came from my offismate - Arifah (second time she ordered from me).. The first set was for her sister in law (untung dpt kakak ipar yg baik hati ni.. hehehe..).. I made this cupcakes last Saturday (tak sempat nak update sebab bz dgn xtvt mengemas rumah semalam).. Sori ya adik2, akak ni tak pandai melukis, tu yg semacam je lukisan yg terhasil.. hehehe... design ni based on lukisan yg dilakarkan oleh empunya yg order...
Well, another cuppies set goes to Arifah's best friend - Maliny.. tapi kalau tgk writing dah mcm "maling" la pulak..hehehe... "y" tu 'ter'rapat la pulak... design pun ikut kehendak empunya order (sori la kalau akak ada tokok tambah)...

Aishah's Order (again)...

Aishah (Triang) called me on Wednesday & asked whether I could make 50pcs cupcakes for her on Friday (such a short notice)....since I am free, so I say YES (tgk pada keadaan gak, kalau bz, mmg kena tolak la)... So, this is the second time she ordered from me..thank you Aishah for your trust.. She gave me a sample of design & wanted me to follow that design (if I'm not mistaken, the design came from Ita)...

So, last nite, I baked these cuppies & went to sleep early (around 10.30pm) and woke up at 5am this morning, to start with d deco & everything...(masa tu choc ganache pun blm sapu lagi, tu yg buat lagi lambat).. finished everything on 8.30am & went to work a bit late...(sekali sekala takpe, jgn buat selalu, nanti bos notice)...

So, here goes 16pcs for "hantaran" (as requested by Aishah)... deco ni sempoi je cuma bab lining tu yg melambatkan keje... kalau putus2 tak cantik..

The balance is for the guest (I guess).. at first, after deducting 16pcs, balance was 34pcs (but I told Aishah to add another 2pcs sebab nak bg ngam dlm kotak utk 36pcs...she said ok.. :D

Not in mood of writing.. actually I prepared the choc ganahce for the cupcakes that was ordered by someone (via email - details has been provided, that's why I prepared whatever necessary)... she said she wanted me to delivered this set to ***** (i'm not going to mention anything here)... but then, she never return my email @ either sms me on the thing I asked her (payment also not bank-in)... hmmm... what a day!!! utk mengelakkan pembaziran, I have to ask anyone who's interested to buy this set.... thank God there's always Kak Niah (MPT) who's looking fwd to order cc from me... so, this set goes to her... (deco ni aku taram je sebab utk mkn2 kan)...

Army cupcakes???

This "army cupcakes" was ordered by Ayu from KL for her friend who works in Kem Bt 3 (nearby my place)... she wanted to congratulate her friend (Junita).. ni kes naik pangkat la ni... kalau ikutkan Ayu ada bg sample cupcakes yg dia nak (lebih kurang mcm nila, tapi aku ubahsuai sikit, buat rumput2 tu... mula2 ingat nak letak "bom", tapi takut org tak cam lak bom yg aku buat.. Askar2 tu beli la yek (bukan buat), blm cukup terror nak buat askar...Anyway, thanks Ayu for the order.... hope Junita like the cupcakes...

Mickey Cupcakes for AQIM..

Drawing cartoon faces on cupcakes was not my specialty... (maklumla tgn keras bab2 melukis ni)... so, I leave everything to my hubby... this set of cupcakes was ordered by Yatie MPT for her nephew... I baked the cupcakes on Friday nite & on Saturday morning when I went to work, hubby started drawing & coloring those faces... honestly I was not satisfied with the outcome this time (bukan salah hubby la, ni salah aku sebab lupa nak buat choc ganache sehari sebelum tu).. so drawing ni nampak tak smooth (kalau guna ganache lebih cantik)...hubby pun setuju, dia kata next time buat guna ganache...nasib baikla feedback yg diterima melegakan... Sorry Yatie sebab lukisan tak berapa smooth kali ni...Happy Birthday AQIM..next time auntie lukis lagi cantik ya sayang...(alamak... ada satu mickey yg tak kaler habis, kat rambut... baru perasan ni)

300pcs cupcakes for Aishah...

Yesterday I was on leave.. so that I could concentrate on the 300pcs cupcakes ordered by Aishah (Triang)... She wanted the cupcakes for her wedding's door gift... I deal with her thru online (never met her in person)... started baking early in the morning & finished everything on 8pm... hubby helped me a little bit on "melepa" BC (ni dia buat masa lunch hour) & ptg lak dia tolong buat daun & packaging smua cc ni... penat tak terkata.. nasib baikla Aishah minta deco yg simple mcm ni je...

Altogether 300pcs cupcakes ready to go!!! Thanks Aishah for the order (cupcakes ni dah on d way ke Triang).....

Barbie Cake for Qistina...

This is my 1st order of Barbie Cake.. before this I used to make this kind of cake for my niece's birthday & that was it.... so, when Nur Sarah (MPT) said that she wanted to order a birthday cake for her daughter, this is what I have in mind...

Look at the Barbie's hair... hehehe... comel kan??? I used mine (memandangkan blm ada anak perempuan, sedekahla kat Barbie ni, ok gak kan...).. Thanks to Ita for your guidance on how to smoothen the Barbie's skirt.... :D

Fondant & Sugar Box Class - Kak Mis...

Date : 7 February 2009 ( Saturday)
Venue : Pandan Jaya (Kak Mis's house)
Time : 10 am (according to Kak Mis's schedule, but due to certain circumstances, the class started a bit late)
Students : Me, Kak Farah, Kak Daalia, Kak Aishah, Rani, Ita, Chepah

I have been dreaming to join kak Mis's class since d 1st day I lay my eyes on her fp (jiwangnya ayat.. hehe..)... hasil2 Kak Mis ni mmg cantik & tak jemu mata memandang... selalu gak aku tanya "bila kak mis nak buat buat kelas??"... So, when Kak Mis advertised that she will conduct a fondant class, I was so excited to hear the news... tambahan pula ada geng2 yg nak pegi gak, tu yg bertambah2 bersemangat... Akhirnya dpt la bersua muka dgn Kak Mis.. jgn tak tau, in reality, Kak Mis ni sgtla cantik orgnya... terpegun aku tgk masa mula2 bersalam dgn dia... :D

Overall, the class was so happening (riuh-rendah rumah Kak Mis sepanjang kelas berjalan, harap Kak Mis tak pening dgn kitorang ni... )... too bad coz we only have one day & couldn't chat more with each other (tau jela, bila ramai2 ni, ada byk bende nak cerita, tapi kelas kena utamakan..kalau tak, nanti tak siap lak keje.. tupun sempat lagi bergossip2 tu.. hehehe... ) Kak Mis is very patient, generous & tak kedekut ilmu.. Thanks a lot Kak Mis for all your guidance..

So, this is the outcome... I was so enjoy doing this deco.. 1st time I used this kind of technique (paint brush if I'm not mistaken)... Frill.. another new thing that I learned... not bad huh???

While waiting for my hubby to pick me up... posing time (too bad the others have already went back)... me, Kak Daalia, Kak Mis & Kak Farah..Love u all!!!! Hope we can meet again next time....

Too bad I couldn't publish my sugar box here coz blm kering lagi... tgkla, bila dah ok, nanti aku letak (tupun kalau tak lupa laa...)

Spongebob Cake for Hazim...

Ayu MPT has become one of my loyal customer.. couldn't say NO to her eventhough I was not planning to make one on Friday nite (takut tak sempat nak siapkan sebab awal pagi Sabtu nak ke KL utk kelas Kak Mis)...anyway thanks dear for your support.. She wanted me to make a Spongebob cake for her son's 5th Birthday, so here it is.... Happy Birthday Hazim!!! be a good boy ok....

Credit to my beloved hubby for the drawing (free hand) & also the coloring.. tapi ada silap sikit kat seluar spongebob yg koyak tu..perasan tak?? hehehe.... takpe abaikan..

Orders from Fini...

I made these cupcakes the night before I went to Kak Mis class (YES, I went to her class on Saturday..will tell later about the class).. Fini ordered 2 sets of cupcakes for mkn2.. at first, she requested Dora & Ben10 faces on the cc, then I told her that I don't think I can draw Ben10 coz it's too small & I afraid people won't recognized my drawing..Then she said, proceed with Dora & rainbow for the 1st set and love with polka dot & butterfly for the 2nd set..

Well, I just realized that it is so hard to draw cartoon faces on the ganache topping... it turned out that Dora's faces looked like a "ghost"... hahahahaha... this is what my hubby said la (ni dia yg lukis, after dah warna semua, baru sedar yg lukisan tu mcm hantu, kitorang risau org takut nak mkn lak).. So, I had to wipe off those "ghost" faces & changed the deco to the sun... what a relieved!!!

Mr Krab for Muhammad Fakhruddin...

This Mr Krab cake was ordered by Shahrul... Thanks a lot Shahrul for your support.... it was for his nephew... at first, I thought of doing a transfer tecnhic on the cake, but I was running out of time... so, I just asked my hubby to draw on the cake using choc ganache... Alhamdulillah.. love the outcome..thanks dear for your help.. (ada sikit kesilapan masa tulis nama tu..sepatutnya Muhammad.. sori yek..)...

This cupcakes were ordered by my officemate (Arifah) about one month ago... she went browsing my friend's blog & the design that I made was requested by her... baby booties??? hehehehe.... 1st time I made baby booties... still need a lot of practice.. kind a love doing it..
